Have you ever found yourself so tired and grumpy when you get home from work that you can’t wait for the weekend to start?
I know that feeling very well.
Waking up early in the morning, doing my morning ritual, preparing stuff for work, commuting during the monstrous rush hours, doing the daily 8-5 grind and writing blog posts on the side—such is my work week routine that it sometimes, pretty much sucks the life force out of me. At the end of an exhausting day, all I want to do is just sleep, eat, then sleep again.
The one thing that makes my busy schedule more bearable and less overwhelming is listening to a relaxing music. When I’m home in the evening, I want to listen to something chill–to help simmer down the stress and keeps my sanity in check.
In my old post, I shared to you my relaxing spa music playlist from Spotify which I’ve been using til this day. Now, I’ve found another gem while browsing in Youtube and I’d like to share this relaxing music playlist with you guys.
3 Hours of Nonstop Relaxing Music by Duke Starwalker
Duke Starwalker’s Ultimate Relaxation Collection runs for less than four hours, enough to keep you company before you turn off the lights and zzzzzzzz. If you want to download and listen to this album offline, you can get it from:
Hope you enjoyed this as much as I did and let me know if you liked it or not.
Relate! Especially that I work at night. My body clock is pretty much messed up. I always listen to good music not just before sleeping but during commute. It truly helps me relax.
I used to work in a call center and our schedule was pretty whacked because we work on a graveyard shift. Music helped me cope with the stressful work during breaktime and just like you, whenever I commute.
Love it! 🙂 I also listen via Spotify they have a lot of playlist with relaxing music good for working and while writing blog. 🙂
I think Spotify has one of the best collections of these types of songs and I stream them all the time.
While typing this comment I am still listening to the music and now I’m sleepy! Lol. Thank you so much for sharing this! I shall download this because lately, I’ve been having a hard time sleeping at night. This would really help!
Yes, please do. It can also help streamline your focus when you’re busy writing your blogs because some songs that have shrilly sounds or catchy lyrics can get you distracted.
when i feel pressured to go to sleep, or when im too excited for the next day’s events.. i listen to zen/spa music to calm my nerves..
That’s good. Aside from spa/zen music, I also keep a classical and relaxing bossa nova playlist on my phone.
I miss this lifestyle ^.^ a SAHM for 7 years now, so work = home and home = work *sigh*.
But there are pros and cons to this kind of lifestyle that I’m on and I’m sure I won’t miss the monstrous Manila-like traffic that slowly builds here in Cebu if I decide to work at home (again) one day.
Ohh coincidentally I have listened to this music a few days ago when I gave my partner a massage and used it in the background. She loved it. 😀
Oh really? Wow, that’s sweet.
Mao sad ni akong trip sa Youtube Jaz! Hehehehe! Labi na kung maglisod kog concentrate. ^_^
Hala apir tang duha! Mao ni pirmi nako i-play sa work labi na kong busy kaayo.
I listen to calming music every night too just to calm my nerves and fall asleep easier! Grabe ka messed-up akung body clock jud ayy!
Good for you. 🙂
Beautiful and relaxing music that is. Thanks a lot for sharing… now I have something to add on my playlist!
Thank you. Did you add it on Spotify?
The right type of music always makes me relax and sleep better.
What type of music do you listen to, Anne?
This music really helps! I will listen to this one every bedtime since I have a hard time sleeping at night because of my working schedule. Anyways, Thanks Jaz! Awesome!
You’re welcome. I’m glad it has helped you somehow. 🙂
Music is therapeutic for me alongside with writing and blogging. I got to listen to the audio you posted and I felt calmer than ever. Relaxation must be an essential part of a person’s day so we could function further without any problem, and I’m really trying to incorporate that throughout my entire busy schedule 🙂
